Flight to the Alamo: This Family Feature Film throws together a juvenile delinquent rocker and a coon skin cap wearing, Davy Crocket fanatic, in a cross country quest to reach the Alamo and get back to their foster home without getting caught by the Sheriff. The mission is simple but the road is filled with more lessons than the history of the Alamo. Growing up is always hard but doing it without your parents to guide you can seem hopeless. But “family” is often earned and not inherited. Nelson is one step away from prison and Rodney is living in a dream world guided only by the lessons of the historical character he emulates, Davy Crocket. These unlikely companions stand together like soldiers on the wall of The Alamo - fighting for freedom, fighting for family and fighting for a new beginning.
